Your Local Rubber Stamp Supplier

Octopus have been supplying rubber stamps to businesses all around Manchester for over 20 years.

There are several types of rubber stamp available depending on your budget, application and what is required on the stamp.

Rubber stamp is the generic name for all kinds of stamps, whether it is self inking, a numbering stamp or a date stamp.  Basically anything that stamps down onto the paper is called a rubber stamp, and why not, they are generally rubber after all.

Traditional Rubber Stamp

The traditional style used to have a wooden handle and plate with the rubber glued to the base.  These are now generally made of moulded plastic, but still the same basic form.

The traditional rubber stamp is still the cheapest type of stamp too.  As there are no moving parts, they are also the most reliable and can last for many years.

The other benefit of a traditional stamp is the size range.  The smallest stamp that we can supply is 25 x 15mm (roughly 1 x 5/8″) and the biggest is a huge 150 x 75mm (6 x 3″).  A special size stamp pad would be required for this stamp.

Self Inking Stamp

The self inking stamp comes in many forms.  The brand that we general supply is the Trodat Printy, which we have supplied for over 20 years.

These stamps require a pre-inked pad that come in a wide range of colours including black, blue, red, green and purple.  Trodat Printy stamps come with a black pad as standard.

The size range of Trodat Printy stamps goes from the tiny 4908 which is 14 x 6mm, up to the 4927 at 58 x 38mm.

Rubber Stamp

If a faster service is required and you are based in the Manchester area, you can collect from our store in Stockport.  The stamps are not made here, so it is not possible to order and collect on the same day.

Rubber Stamp Same Day

If you a rubber stamp is required the same day, we have a do it yourself stamp kit available.  It is a little fiddly, but we have sold many of them over the years and they have served the purpose of stamping urgent legal documents.
