HP Printer Inks

Octopus have been supplying HP printer inks since 2002 when there were fewer ink cartridges in existence.  These days there are hundreds of HP inks for their ever growing range of inkjet printers.

Back in the day HP printers used to use 2 cartridges, a black and a tri-colour. Although this is true for the HP 304XL ink cartridges, many others can have 8 cartridges to product photo quality images.

At Octopus, we can supply the full range of HP inks, even some of the older models that your high street shop or supermarket no longer sell.  We stock many of the popular cartridges that we supply daily, so that we can despatch the same day and keep our customers productivity up.

The 304XL ink cartridges are the type of the cartridges that are made up of just 2 inks.  Each set has a black and a tri-colour (this contains all 3 colours (cyan, magenta and yellow) to produce full colour prints.

As with other printer producers, HP make standard yield and high yield versions of the 304 ink cartridges.  The standard 304 inks contain 4ml black and 2ml for the tri-colour ink.  The 304XL ink contain 5.5ml for the black cartridge and 7ml for the tri-colour.  Therefor it is much more economical to use the 304XL inks as opposed to the standard HP 304.

HP 304XL Multipack

The 304 multipack contains one of each of the 304 inks.  This makes buying a set of inks better value for money and also more convenient.  There is also a benefit to the environment over ordering them in singles as there is less packaging used.

Whilst on the subject of the environment, more and more of HP ink cartridges are being made from recycled bottles, coat hangers and old printer cartridges.  Some of the HP printer inks that are supplied are made up from as much as 67% recycled material.
