As A Printer
The Oki MC853dn can print up to in colour or mono at a speed of 13 pages per minute for A3 and also A4 at 23 pages per minute. The paper tray will hold a maximum of 300 sheets and an additional 100 sheets in the multipurpose tray.
It can print double sided automatically using the duplex function, meaning a business could use a lot less printer paper over the life of the printer.
Consumables Required
Oki MC853dn Cartridge
The printer requires 4 toner cartridges, those being black 45862840, cyan 45862839, magenta 45862838 and yellow 45862837. The black toner has a maximum page life of up to 7,000 pages and the colour toner cartridges have a maximum page life of 7,300 pages.
Genuine Oki Drum Units
The Oki MC853dn cartridge also requires drum units for each toner, however they have a longer life span. The drums (black 44844472, cyan 44844471, magenta 44844470 and yellow 44844469) will need to be replaced at an interval of approximately 30,000 pages.
Genuine Oki Transfer Belt
The transfer belt is also a consumable item and requires replacement at approximately 80,000 pages.
Genuine Oki Fuser Unit
The fuser unit for the Oki MC853dn also requires replacement, but has a long page life of up to 100,000 pages.
Replacement Staple Cartridge
The MC853dn has an integrated stapler that is set onto the side of the printer. This uses a staple cartridge 45513301, that contains 3,000 staples.
As A Scanner
The scanner has a resolution of 600 x 600dpi and a RADF (reversing automatic document feeder) that can accommodate up to 100 pages. The scanner on the MC853dn can handle up to 50 sheets per minute and convert them to PDF or JPEG.
As A Photocopier
If the Oki MC853dn is to be used as a colour photocopier, you will find it easy to operate and efficient to run. It will produce 23 A4 copier per minute in either colour or mono and can reduce or enlarge the original document from 25-400%. Multiple copies are no problem either, with a maximum print run of 999 pages.
As A Fax
As if all of the above was not enough, the Oki MC853dn also has a powerful fax incorporated into it. This could mean one less machine in the office when office space is a premium.
